The article reveals the forms of state regulation of agrarian enterprises, in particular: protectionist, which consists in ensuring protectionism for domestically produced goods; market, which occurs when the market, as a self-regulating system, fails and requires intervention by the State, based on maintaining supply and demand and focused on ensuring the sale of the entire volume of agricultural products produced by agrarian enterprises; program, which in modern conditions is manifested in the implementation of measures to support the development of agrarian. The article characterizes the methods of state regulation of development of agrarian enterprises: direct (administrative, which is a set of orders of the State binding on economic entities) and indirect (economic, which has an impact on the realization of economic interests of economic entities of a stimulating or suppressive nature). The article reveals the current practice of state support for the development of agricultural enterprises as one of the weighty mechanisms of their state regulation in terms of the areas of support. The article presents in detail the regulatory framework for providing state support and the largest of the 36 banks that signed a Memorandum with the Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine on the implementation of the provisions of state support for agricultural producers. The author proposes a scientific and methodological approach to assessing the effectiveness of the state support for agricultural enterprises specializing in both crop and livestock production and for agricultural enterprises specializing in crop production and analyzes the results of the calculations.
